Hey it’s been a few days since my last post. I had to go back to work this week, so Dylan, Mommy, and Nonno got to spend a lot of time together. Dylan and Janet are doing great. Janet’s a bit tired, having to adjust to Dylan’s sleep/eat schedule. We’ll have more pics and comments up over the weekend, but here’s some funny pics of Dylan swaddled to look like a burrito…. Ah the simple pleasures.

Dylan gets to hang with Auntie Heidi and all her new stuffed animals.

After 2 visits to Dr. Flavio Gonzalez, our ace pediatrician, we now know we have a healthy baby, who’s main order of business is sleeping, eating (Janet to oversee mostly), and waste disposal (Merv to oversee mostly). Here you see Dylan and Janet waiting to meet with Dr. Flavio, followed by Dr. Flavio holding Dylan up with big smiles!!!
Dylan is ready to start working for mommy at Janet Jewelry (shameless plug: http://www.janetjewelry.com). Below she visits the store and gets to meet ace Janet Jewelry Associate: Vicky! Then, in completely unrelated news, Hepburn (the grey cat) plots for how to get more massage time back from the baby.
So at some point it had to happen. Dylan was getting a bit stinky and a bit crusty, so… It was time for her first bath. She wasn’t feeling too happy at first. Being naked and being washed with luke warm water while people were taking pictures just wasn’t Dylan’s style. After a bit of a fuss, she actually seemed to enjoy parts of it. Mommy and Daddy were a bit freaked out and trying to move as quickly as possible. In the end… CLEAN BABY! Yay!

Later today you’ll see Dylan’s first bath and her first visit to Mommy’s store.

Wednesday sure was fun! The day started with a sleepy Dylan slowly waking up and then joining papa in some Tai Chi exercises 
Next we headed out for a walk with TonyPapa and Nonno. We got Dylan some hipster new outfits and Papa some new pajamas (those pics are on a different site ) When we got back to the apartment who should stop by to visit but uncle Jarret. Once he picked her up, Jarret didn’t want to let Dylan go, but eventually he had to get back to work.
On top of all that, Papa got busy and built the Papasan Swing that was a gift from the fine staff of Cargo Magazine (shameless plug: http://www.cargomag.com). Dylan jumped into the swing and immediately fell asleep. YAY!

First thing today we had to bundle Dylan up and take her out for her first visit to the doctor…. You can barely see her head! 
Following our first succesful outing, it was back to home base where after some lounging around, Dylan got a feeding from Papa. Notice the fat cat giving the baby Evil Kitty Stink Eye. Our other cat, Butterscotch, has been in hiding since Dylan came home.
